Views vs. Vanity

      Views vs. Vanity

      Dear business owner,

Perhaps you have more work than you know what to do with, today. But, if you have been in business long enough, you already know that small business ownership is like a roller coaster ride. I do not need to explain how that analogy relates, instead, the question is what happens when customer acquisition, or work is slow?

A savvy business owner spends money monthly or annually on marketing and branding. Do you use this budget as a vanity page or to generate growth? The question then is, what is growth? If you are building a brand, either local or national, the more you expand your net, just like a fisherman would, the more opportunities to catch new customers you gain.

Ask yourself, how is your current marketing strategy really working for you? Do you see a need for improvement? Are you getting enough exposure online? A view online means someone has opened an article, post or banner ad about your company. We donít know if they read it, you would need to go case by case to verify that. But, what it does mean, is that people are interested in the title of the article or post and they have clicked on it. When this happens, it is a new opportunity that you would not of had otherwise.

It is all about exposure. The more exposure your company has online, the more it will help you with branding and marketing. Think about social media today and how it has helped companies to grow. When the company is active online through the many different streamlines of opportunity, they have put themselves in a great position to bring in new or current customer acquisition. How about you? No doubt you prioritize your time caring for the day-to-day operations of your company. Many business owners feel that they have no more energy at the end of the day to get online and promote their services. Do you see where this is leading?

This is not about showing off your company, in some braggadocios way. This is about building your companyís success and doing so by outsourcing the work to make that happen online. If you paid a modest fee and could sit back and relax as the autopilot marketing steamrolled, why would you not want to do it? Why are some people on the internet more active than others? The reason they are so active, is that they want exposure. You can get exposure for free or you can add it to your budget and have a professional company kick your distribution in turbo. Think of the latter as a stairway to success.

                      Who needs it?
