          you can ruin the integrity of the floor. the floor can actually cup or warp

              One thing I realized is that the wood itself can start Boeing bending and cupping. So it's always important to know the type of wood flooring it is and then fall the manufacturers suggested moisture levels. Sometimes that means going on Google and researching the type of wood.
